Application Process and Timeline
The Homeownership Program is an exciting and at times an exhausting process. Once accepted into the program, each homeowner is assigned a volunteer family partner that helps them through the process. After our homeowners move into their new homes, staff is still available for questions and concerns. We want you to know that our homeowners are not alone, even after they move into their new Habitat Mesa home.
Application Process includes the following: Attend an information – pre-screening session; Submit application; Application Review; Home Visit; Committee Review & Approval; Orientation, Home Building, Education; Homeownership.
*The presented timeline is an estimate only. It can vary greatly based on the homeowner’s ability to complete sweat equity and education hours and potential delays that may occur by weather, subcontractors, availability of materials and city/county inspections.
