Where We Build

Hoffman Country Estates Subdivision
With the beautiful backdrop of clear, blue Colorado sky and glowing red mountains, the Hoffman Country Estates is Habitat for Humanity of Mesa County’s  largest project to date.  Upon completion, it will provide more than 60 homeowners with safe, decent, affordable housing.  Purchased in 2006, this 8+ acre plot of land will be the setting for over 29,000 hours of completed sweat equity time, put in by Habitat homeowners, their friends and family, and our dedicated volunteers.  The land is located at 3043 D Road; just half a mile from the Colorado River and right next to the Mesa County Wildlife Study Conservation area. Although we have had certain circumstances that allow us to complete rehabilitation projects throughout the valley, Hoffman Country Village Subdivision will be the focus of our home building.

In August 2010, the first house was built and as of to date we have built eighty-one homes in the subdivision.
